Framing statement:
This writing assignment is a primary source analysis essay for Human Traditions II. These essays can be a little difficult to write because I found the guidelines to be slightly vague and there are few given. During the writing process for this paper, I focused most on analyzing the main idea that the author was trying to get across. I did not find it too difficult to analyze this source given that there is sufficient information to cover and the author’s point was seemingly obvious to me. It also helped to look at the feedback that my professor gave me on the first two primary source essays I had submitted before this one. However, I found it difficult to write the introduction because I was not sure where to start in terms of topics relevant to the document. Overall, the writing process was not entirely difficult nor easy.
